Plastic packaging bags: custom manufacturer for food, retail and industry
Plastic packaging bags are flexible plastic bags made to order to pack, protect and present a product, with the material, size, structure and print set per order rather than taken from stock.
VLM Poliplast is a European flexible packaging manufacturer that converts these bags in-house, from single-material polyethylene to multilayer laminated structures, with printing to your brand, for food, retail and industrial customers across Europe.
This is production to specification, not resale from stock, and it is flexible plastic packaging for products, not paper carrier bags or household film. Every order ships with a technical data sheet and, for food applications, a food-contact declaration to Reg. (EC) 1935/2004 and (EU) 10/2011.
The short answer: there are two families of plastic packaging bag. Choose a pouch when the pack stands on shelf and sells the product, and a poly bag when the bag packs, groups or ships the product. Everything below routes you to the right one.

Custom pouches

Poly bags
Flat and functional bags that pack, group and ship: self-seal, printed polythene, LDPE and HDPE, laminated and mailing bags. For packing lines, distribution and e-commerce.

A manufacturer, not a reseller
VLM Poliplast has produced flexible packaging in Romania since 2008 and works with food, retail and industrial customers across Europe. We laminate, slit, convert bags and pouches, configure roll stock and perforate in-house, and we print your design on the bag. Because every order is made to specification, we take on smaller runs than high-volume producers, which suits growing brands and product launches.

Materials, printing and compliance
We build packaging bags from polyethylene (LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE), polypropylene and BOPP, and from multilayer laminated structures, choosing the material for the barrier, strength and recyclability the product needs. Barrier performance is described qualitatively and documented per structure, not as unverified numbers. Recyclable mono-material structures are available under our EcoMonoFilm® range and support compliance with PPWR (EU) 2025/40, assessed on the complete pack. VLM Poliplast does not issue a certified RecyClass class; recyclability is assessed on the full structure. For the underlying films, see our packaging film range.

Tell us the product, bag type, size, quantity and any barrier or shelf-life target.

Structure and artwork
We recommend the structure and format, then prepare a digital proof of your design for approval.
3.
Production
Once the proof is approved, your bags go into production under our ISO-certified systems.
4.
Delivery
Lead time and delivery are confirmed at quotation, based on the product and the run.
Pricing depends on the material, size, quantity and number of print colours, so there is no fixed price per bag. Each quote is confirmed at quotation on your specification, and a sample is available on request before a production run.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a pouch and a poly bag?
A pouch has volume and structure, so it stands on shelf and presents the product, and it can carry a zipper or a valve. A poly bag is a flatter, functional bag that packs, groups or ships a product. Pouches suit retail and food brands; poly bags suit packing lines, distribution and e-commerce.
Are you a manufacturer or a reseller?
We are a manufacturer. VLM Poliplast converts the bags in-house and prints them to your design, rather than selling stock bags. This is why size, material, structure and print are all set per order.
Do you make paper bags?
No. VLM Poliplast makes plastic packaging bags and flexible packaging: polyethylene, polypropylene and BOPP, laminated multilayer structures and recyclable mono-material. For a natural, kraft look, a kraft laminate pouch gives the paper appearance while keeping the barrier and seal of a flexible pack.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum depends on the bag type, the material and the print. As a made-to-order manufacturer we take on smaller runs than high-volume producers. Send your specification and we confirm the minimum for your project.
Can you send samples before I order?
Yes. We send physical samples from our existing range on request, so you can check the material, structure and finish before you commit. Samples are from current production, not printed with your design.
Have a product to pack?
Send us the product, the format you have in mind and any barrier or shelf-life target, and we recommend the bag, the structure and the terms, documented on the data sheet of the delivered structure.
